Benjamin
Manning
by Tim Saunders This was a work of imagination for we do not yet have a photograph or drawing of Mr Manning, but as our research into the life of Benjamin and his family continued, Tim began to feel as if he knew him. |

Alder
by Bradiford Water, pastel,
by Christine Lovelock This is the view from the old bridge that leads into the small field by the river, across the stream from Manning's Pit, so while not strictly in Manning's Pit, the bridge is part of the land that was included in the sale. |

Anchor
Mill, in the snow, at sunset

Cows

Anne Beer also put several paintings into the Exhibition, unfortunately we were unable to take good photographs of them at the time, so I am afraid these do not do them justice. |
|
This is another of Anne's paintings, of the
weir close to Tutshill Woods, just a little outside the area of the Manning's Pit fields. Anne has also given us a very moving piece of writing, about what Mannning's Pit means to her. You can read it on our supporters page. |
