All the surrounding farm land is in private ownership. Following the Friends of Manning's Pit's successful fundraising campaign, the Manning's Pit fields are now in the ownership of the Pilton Green Man CIO Charity No 1170742. The Friends of Manning's Pit will be running the management of the land going forward.

Please observe these rules
• No fires or barbecues
• Keep to the permissive area
• Take litter home
• Keep dogs under control
• Dog mess - bag it and remove it
• No E-Scooters, bicycles or motor vehicles
• No fishing
• Close gates behind you
• Follow the Countryside Code
• Health and Safety Policies

For our part, we will protect the wildlife and maintain the trees, hedgerows and grasslands with expert advice. We will also preserve the natural beauty of the landscape.

The fences, styles and gates will be maintained with our team of volunteers, along with professional help when required.
