Manning's Pit
Manning's Pit is treasured by all,
Angry men want to build on it,
"Never take it"we all say,
Never take our precious place.
It will be a big loss
Go away we don't want you here!
Slither away to your small home.
People would mourn if it went
If you don't go away we will be distraught.
